- First to run Master's of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism (4 semesters) in Nepal.
- First to run Master's of Arts in Development Communication (4 semesters) in Nepal.

- First to run Bachelor's of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism (6 semesters) in Nepal (by a private sector).
- Jointly started Masters Degree Program with Dhaka University in Bangladesh, Punjab University in Pakistan and OSLO University College.

- Published the FIRST Media Calendar in Nepal. It cataloged crucial historical media events and turning points in Nepali media in a chronological order.
- Published a book - Africa Pride and Enigma of the World "The more you explore the more it mystifies".

- Conducted Nepal Africa Film Festival for the first time in the Film History of Nepal in 2011 with the theme "Africa through African Lens".
- CJMC received two PhDs from Makarere University for Media studies. (No colleges or even universities in Nepal had ever been given this privilege before.)

- Established the first and only "college run FM station" in Nepal - second in the whole of south Asia.
- 400 of our graduate and post-graduate students are serving the nation as media communication professionals.

- 32 of our students have been sent abroad on scholarship to study .
- 14 of our faculties have been sent abroad to teach and to attend workshops.
